Known for world-class shopping, dining and golf, Kierland is not only an extraordinary place to visit, but also one of the most sought-after and exciting locations to reside in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
 
The Master Plan for this unique 730-acre community was approved in 1991 and was the largest rezoning case in the area’s history.  Created by Woodbine Development Corporation, partnered with the Herberger family who had owned the land since the 1950s, the first residential site sale for Kierland took place in 1993.

Aside from the marketing spin, Scottsdale Quarter brings to the Kierland area, a combination of several more large retailers and new-to-the-market small specialty stores and restaurants.  It increases shopping and dining selection and the choices in nightlife and entertainment.
